How this works:
  • For each ticket you purchase for either show, you will receive a unique code worth your ticket price plus service fees that you may use to direct a donation to any charity of your choosing on JustGive.org (a nonprofit organization that connects people to over 1.8 million charities).
  • Have fun giving with your fellow concertgoers. Consider making a collective impact by encouraging your neighbors and friends to all choose a mutual charity of interest, such as a local school, park or favorite community organization.
  • Your directed donation is funded by the performing artists and a generous supporter.
  • All proceeds will be donated to charities selected by the ticket purchasers.

    Answer: Unfortunately no. In return for the admission cost, you will receive a ticket to the show plus a donation credit equal to your total ticket cost at JustGive.org.

    Answer: JustGive is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase charitable giving by connecting people with the charities and causes they care most about. They provide an online platform that enables donations to any of the 1.8 million charities that they have access to.

  3. When do I receive my donation code?
    Answer: Your donation code is the unique 14 digit barcode number on your ticket stub. You will be emailed this code as well prior to the events.

  4. How do I use my code to direct a donation?
    Answer:
    1. Go to justgive.com/Charlottesville and begin directing your donation.
    2. Enter the 14 digit barcode number from your ticket stub
    3. Select the charity(s) that you want to direct the donation to.
    4. Follow the instructions on the site until your donation is complete.

    Answer: You can redeem your code anytime before Sept 30, 2011

    Answer: You can direct your credit to any charity(s) of your choice hosted on JustGive.org. With over 1.8 million charities to choose from, the possibilities are endless.

  7. Can I split my credit among a few different charities or can it only go to one charity?
    Answer: The minimum donation you can make on JustGive.org is $10. So for example, you could split a $150 credit to up to 15 different charities if you choose.
